Coronavirus Measures

Opening in May

Chellowdene is is planning to open on 17 May 2021 and we have implemented a range of measures in line with government guidelines as detailed below. Our priority is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our guests and staff as far as is possible in the present circumstances.

Experience

We were partially open during the first pandemic lock down in 2020 to house key workers, so we have several months of experience in implementing the measures necessary to keep our staff and guests as safe as possible.

Check In and Check Out

Guests will have the option to self check in and check out without having any direct contact with us. If it is necessary to use our card machine, it will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before and after it has been used. All keys will be cleaned and sanitized between guests.

Bedrooms

All of our bedrooms will be deep cleaned when they are vacated and before any new guests check in. The rooms will also be thoroughly aired between guest occupations. We always wash our towels and bedding on a full cycle at high temperature. All of our bedrooms are fully en-suite so there are no shared facilities.

Breakfast

We have an airy and very spacious breakfast room and all tables are a least one meter apart. Given the size of the room, it will be possible in most circumstances to locate guests at least one meter apart. The room is dual aspect with plenty of windows which will be open (weather permitting) providing abundant ventilation and airflow.

Sanitization

Door handles and banisters in all common areas will be cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis throughout the day. Hand sanitizers will be provided in all communal areas.
