Covid-19 Infection

We will not be accepting guests if they have travelled from any area subject to a Covid-19 lockdown. Guests will not be admitted if they are showing signs of Covid-19 on their arrival.

If a guest begins to display the symptoms of the Covid-19 virus while staying at Chellowdene, they must inform us immediately and must also self-isolate immediately where they are to minimize the risk of transmission. A Covid-19 test must also be requested.

If the guest is confirmed to have Covid-19, they must return home if they reasonably can. If the guest is not able to return home because they are not well enough to travel, the circumstances should be discussed with a healthcare professional and appropriate arrangements made.

General Terms

Our rates are very reasonable and competitive with bed and breakfast starting at £50 per person per night. Please phone for full details on rates and availability. We welcome families with children over twelve, however, we regret that we are not able to accommodate pets. We have a free broadband Wi-Fi connection for the use of our guests and Freeview television is available in all rooms. We have limited off street parking available directly in front of the property. However, guests parking vehicles in the car park do so entirely at their own risk. There is also street parking available close to the guest house.

Chellowdene is strictly non smoking throughout.

On arrival, check-in is from 3.00 pm until 6.00 pm. On departure, check out is from 8.00 am until 10.00 am.

Personal cheques are welcomed but must be presented at least five working days prior to departure. We accept most major credit cards.

Guests are respectfully reminded that a non refundable deposit equal to the full cost of the first night's accommodation is payable with all bookings on the day that the booking is made. If the booking is modified or cancelled up to 30 days before the date of arrival, you will be charged for the first night's accommodation. If the booking is cancelled or modified less than 30 days before the arrival date, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

The total price will also be payable in the event that guests either fail to show, or arrive and then cut short their previously booked reservation. We strongly advise you to take out a holiday insurance policy.

We would only cancel your booking in the unlikely event of damage to the premises or any other cause beyond our control. In these circumstances, we would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation. If this was not possible or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you for the booking. Our liability in these circumstances would not extend beyond this refund.
